Glomshire Knights

. . . is nothing like the character I first came up with back when Glomshire Knights was a fantasy brickfilm about an attack by the undead upon a peaceful kingdom. I think she's awesome as a princess who kicks butt and doesn't care what your name is.

. . . as you think they're going to, even when you're the one writing the comic! I truly intended on episode 100 being an epic strip that reveals a major element of this strip. Then the characters took over and something happened a great deal sooner than expected and that pushes what episode 100 was supposed to unveil back at least 25-30 episodes! We'll get there eventually, just as Gil and gang will make it back to Glomshire one of these days.

You may have noticed I've finally started adding something to the cast page -- a couple of bios are up and I've got a couple more in the works that should be online by Feb. 1 or so.

. . . isn't in the cards for this year thanks to a side project called "Blockocop" and that annoying thing called "life." However, I'm hard at work as we speak (ok, not right at this very moment) on a new batch of GK to carry us into February so I can spend the holidays with my family instead of my Lego. Oh, believe me, when the yuletide dysfunction kicks into high gear I'll probably find some way to escape to my little medieval universe. Perhaps by the New Year I'll have enough storylines and ideas to carry us well into summer.

Yeah, it's going to be rough being away from my bricks for two weeks -- but I'm going somewhere warm and that counts for something, eh? Don't worry, though, I'll make we're locked and loaded up to episode 92 before heading out for winter break.  Thanks for reading this, and for reading Glomshire Knights!

Because of Thanksgiving travel, Glomshire Knights will be updated Sunday night instead of on Saturday. It's worth the wait!

It was a mad weekend 'round these parts as I scripted and photographed enough comics to refill the buffer up until Thanksgiving weekend. I'll try stay ahead of the game from now on, maybe try to at least knock out a couple strips each week so as to avoid a hiatus the next time writer's block strikes and a I need a few weeks to mull things over. Anyway, Glomshire Knights is back this Wednesday!
